Florals, and Tigers, and Birds– Oh My! (New Upholstery Update)

In the wake of our annual January sale, the Nowell & Co. showroom was looking a tad sparse (for our standards) and was in need of a refresh! Luckily, our new upholstery arrived with perfect timing. So many gorgeous new pieces hit the floor this month, each addition carefully selected to enhance our collection.

Here's a first look at the new arrivals! Come shopping with us as we take you through each new piece. Getting them home won't be as easy as clicking three times, but don't worry, we have a team for that.

Blue, Birds:

These new pieces look stunning in the showroom. Everything from the complementary blues of the sofa, to the intricate beauty of the armchairs, to the speckle detail of the throw pillows paints a perfect picture. The sofa strikes an even balance between classy and cozy with elegant arms and a soft, comfortable feel. The contrasting blue cord allows the shape of this piece to stand out. Meanwhile, the armchair fabric features an enchanting combination of botanicals and birds, evoking spring with blues, whites, and earthy bronzes.

Geometric Grays:

This gray sofa is perfectly simple, especially paired with these geometric blue armchairs. The pattern on the chairs is as interesting from a distance as up close, and creates an eye-catching effect even from across the room. The chair's fabric offers endless shapes to pull from, and the sofa keeps the combo clean and fresh, leaving plenty of room to play when it comes to accessorizing. We've chosen to add a little shine with a glass cocktail table and silver table accessories. The rug below is gorgeous, with rich blue hues and an abstract design. The overall effect feels both modern and timeless.

Dreamy Green:

This sofa is a mossy green dream! The simple shape in such a soft shade makes the sofa perfect for lounging or seating guests. With a cream tape around the band of the skirt, it is beautiful down to the details. Even the throw pillows seem to bring the natural world inside, with a look inspired by forest foliage. Meanwhile, the tiny and intricate laurel patterning on the armchairs is so stunning it calls for a closer look. Good thing we've got one of our favorite decor accessories—a unique magnifying glass—within arm's reach!

A Jungle In Here:

We're moving from the forest to the jungle with this next new upholstery highlight. The textured tan sofa keeps it simple and allows these gorgeous throw pillows, both wrapped in a jungle-scape of trees and leaves, to really pop. Across the way, the armchairs incorporate dark slate, sandy tan, and warm brown tones into one eye-catching pattern. Beneath it all, this new rug brings in a splash of color with it's aztec and botanical design. While our tiger loveseat isn't new to the showroom, it's vibrant colors undeniably stand out next to these new additions, and pull together the jungle motif we see throughout.

Go Golden:

These last pieces of new upholstery look fantastic in the showroom. The golden tone of this leather sofa makes it a perfect centerpiece, and is sure to brighten up your living space while keeping it grounded and cozy. We've accessorized with a couple of throw pillows to add a few playful splashes of color to the mix. The sofa pops no matter it's environment, but is especially stunning next to the hints of gold in both of these sets of chairs. These new sage green swivel chairs are a dream to look at and to sit in, thanks to their subtle floral pattern and their welcoming, curved shape. The funky zigzag armchairs aren't new additions, but we think they coordinate perfectly, with their swooped arms and streaks of pink and gold.
